Easter at the Monte dei Cappuccini
A view of Turin from the Monte dei Cappuccini (240m) and from the Church of Santa Maria del Monte.
The Church of Santa Maria del Monte (1584), in honour to the Virgin Mary, by the architect Ascanio Vitozzi.
The presbytery and the tabernacle (1638), designed by Amedeo di Castellamonte and Luca Longo respectively.
A thought and a prayer for the victims of the terrible earthquake in the Abruzzo region in Central Italy.
Have a good Easter everybody

It means a lot.
Concerning the Church and the Presbytery, you, Italian are the masters of these hamonious buildings. Every where we go in your country, we watch such gem.
Every details are so elaborated.
And, yes, a prayer for the families that have lost a member in this tragedy, as well as for those who have lost their house and their whole life souvenirs.
I've found your Prime Minister a little bit ironic speaking about homeless persons. Hope they will remedy quickly to the precariousness of these families.
Have a nice Easter celebration.
