Sundial 9



Sundial on the medieval bell tower of the church of San Cassiano, in the town of Grugliasco (Turin), designed during the restoration works in 1996.
The inscription says: "Sine sole sileo" ("Without the sun I remain silent").

havent really tried checking time through a sundial. ive seen one in a far province here but didnt verify time through it.

Very impressive the bell tower with a wonderful medieval character! The inscription is perfect to sum up me: Sine sole sileo. I truly LOVE it, I am silent if I can't see sun or sunlight.

On a side note, its wonderful to read your comment (left on my recent post), thanks very much Pietro. What would my life be like without my readers' thoughts?! Best wishes for a nice Friday to you while we are enjoying our (Sweet Festival) holidays until next Mon.
