'O sole mio
The 3 Tenors (Domingo, Carreras, Pavarotti), live, Los Angeles, 1994
’O sole mio is a globally known Neapolitan song written in 1898. Its lyrics were written by Giovanni Capurro and the music was composed by Eduardo di Capua while he was admiring a magnificent sunrise in Odessa (Ucraina). ’O sole mio is the Neapolitan equivalent of standard Italian "Il mio sole" and translates literally as "my sunshine".
It's Now or Never is a ballad recorded by Elvis Presley in 1960. It is one of two popular songs based on the Italian song 'O Sole mio, the other being There's No Tomorrow, recorded by U.S. singer Tony Martin in 1949, which inspired Presley's version.
