Lovely sculptures...I think that walk must be great!

Catherine

At first I thought the sentry was a nun! These are interesting interpretations. That must be a wonderful walk.

Just amazing these woodcarvings, Pietro!
Love most Felice Rosa Maria (Italy) Carving and casinò.

PS: Thanks for your nice comment on my post about music. My mother also loved Chopin, and so do I.
I would love to see your Steinway.

Louise
Someone is very creative.

How poignant, that "Sentry of the Mountain" and Felice Rosa Maria's "Carving and Casino" leaves me wondering about the title: I see a female figure being born out of a tree trunk. Anyway, they are all beautiful.

Sonia commented about your Steinway.
I have a 1905 grand. Where did you get yours (I brought mine with me from the US)?

Quint
Well, they certainly are all interesting but if I had to chosse I guess I would stick with Felice Rosa Maria!

a presto

Here is a picture of my piano. Rick Schaeffer, a master piano builder, restored it, so it is in perfect condition and sheer pleasure to play and listen to.

Rajesh
Excellent set of wood carvings. The second carving is amazing.

MedaM
Those are really beautiful, creative and very interesting carvings.

Michele
They are all very interesting sculptures and I am sure they all have some very special meanings behind each and every one of them!

GMG
Hi Pietro! These are beautiful! Love all of them, but the one of Rosa Maria is my favourite!

Blogtrotter is showing some sights of the most northern capital city in the world. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

muZer
Woww,, those r some pretty wood carvings.. :-)

Dina
These are so wonderful! Amazing what an artist can think of and then express in a piece of tree.

Indrani

thyme
